Why Aren't We the Cheapest Scaffolding Rental in Tenerife?

Let's be honest: if you search online, you'll find aluminium tower rental ads considerably cheaper than our rates. It's a fair question some customers ask us, and it deserves a straight answer, not a generic excuse.

From a distance, one aluminium tower looks like any other. But there are real differences that don't always show up in a €5/day ad:

Real certification, not just the word "certified." Our equipment carries TÜV certification and complies with the European standards EN 1004 and EN 1298. This isn't a bureaucratic detail — it determines how much weight the structure can bear, how it behaves in wind (far from trivial in Tenerife), and which guardrails and anchor points are mandatory.

Assembly by qualified staff, not self-installation. With cheaper deals, assembly is often left up to you, or done by someone without specific training. We send staff who erect the tower following protocol, check its stability, and hand it over ready to use. A poorly assembled tower is the single most common cause of mobile-tower accidents.

Equipment maintenance. A tower that's been rented out 200 times without inspection loses tolerances, hardware integrity and rigidity. We inspect our equipment between rentals. It's a cost you don't see, but it's what stops you working on a worn-out structure 6 metres up.

A fixed quote, with no hidden charges afterwards. The price we give you includes transport and assembly, calculated up front. There are no "surprises" on delivery day.

When it DOES make sense to look for the cheaper option

Let's be fair to the other side of the argument: if you need a small tower for a one-off domestic job of a couple of hours, in an easily accessible spot, and you have previous experience assembling this kind of equipment, a cheaper option can be reasonable for you. We're not trying to convince everyone.

When the price difference isn't worth it

If the job is professional, if other people are on site, if the height exceeds 5–6 metres, or if you simply don't want to take on the risk of assembling, yourself, a structure you're about to climb — that's where certification, professional assembly and maintenance stop being "an extra" and become what you're actually paying for.

Our honest advice: always compare what each quote includes, not just the price per day. Ask whether assembly is included, who does it, and what certifications the equipment holds. With that information, the decision is yours — and it'll be the right one.
